Almost time for the Opening of Wilds of My Home

This Friday is March 4th! From 5:30 to 7:30, join us a Pine Jog Environmental Center off Summit and Jog (http://www.pinejog.org/ContactUs/directions.aspx)in West Palm Beach. I will have a collection of color and BW work that is both landscapes and conservation work. Since I will not be showing any alligator images, I had to share this one.

Out on the Lake

I spent a blissful morning air boat riding on Lake Okeechobee this week. The cloud cover kept until around 11am, and the sugar cane fields were still being burned. My buddies, Chris and Boots, were entertaining as always. I love hearing their stories of the Lake, especially when Boots has a childhood memory. When I think back on my childhood, I can remember gators coming in to the ponds in our planned community. I rarely went as west as Hwy 441. I marvel at the development stretching west meeting the Everglades at her door. A day on the Lake is as much a personal day as it is a field work day.

Enough said!

March Exhibit at Pine Jog

Please join me in the opening of my photography show at Pine Jog Environmental Center in West Palm Beach. I am excited to share my ongoing nature photography of Lake Okeechobee and the SE portions of the Everglades. I will be sure to share my message of water conservation and the Lake, as well as, challenge viewers to make a small daily change for Florida's future.
